""The event of abiogenesis (the appearance of the first self-replicating molecule) can be either random or non-random. In the first case it doesn't correlate with other events (beyond some time scale). In the latter case the correlation time scale exceeds the life time of the universe. The estimated minimum size of such a molecule is about 250 independent blocks. The probability of a random self-assembly of 250 constituent blocks in a particular order is 1/250! which is about 10^-500. This probability is prohibitingly small. Therefore, we have to conclude that it wasn't a random event but a result of a process of the time scale exceeding the life time of the universe""
After a few hours of mingling and meeting a few of Ryan's friends, I decided it was time to go, I was pretty tired, and feeling almost a little too woozy from the many games of beer pong I had dominated at.
The dorms were about a 20 minute walk, I figured the fresh air could sober me up a bit, and it actually did. Halfway home, I decided to check the time on my phone when I noticed a text message from a strange number.
"Hey, its Justin, Ryan told me to text you, he said you were cool, we should hang" He was probably just drunk texting me, but I figured I better save his number in case I get more drunken texts or calls from him.
I didn't reply to his text message. Why would Ryan make him text me. He probably figured I needed more friends and more social skills, considering I was only friends with him, maybe he was getting tired of being my friend.
Oh well. I wouldn't mind being friends with this Justin guy. About 2 in the morning is when Ryan finally made it into the dorm, he was actually with somebody...the end of the story look at the video above ↑ ↑ ↑
